Eleanor V. Achenbach, 86, of Frackville, passed away Wednesday at her residence.
Born in Morea she was a daughter of the late Emil and Julia Brach Micun. She was a graduate of Frackville High School. She was member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Parish, the Frackville Senior Citizens and American Legion Post #398 Ladies Auxiliary, all of Frackville. In addition to her parents she was preceded by, sisters; Florence Sienkiewicz, Cecelia Micun, Theresa E. Dembroski and Genevieve C. Micun; brothers; Emil Micun, Jr. Leonard Micun and Walter Swistak; she was the last member of her immediate family. Eleanor is survived by three sons; Vincent Achenbach and his wife Tammy, Mechanicsville, VA; Allen Achenbach; at home, Frackville; and Joseph Achenbach and his wife Dorene, Frackville; Granchildren Jared, Nicole, Vincent, Jr., Sara and Dana Achenbach.
