Born in Reading, December 30, 1955, he was a son of Albert G. Gricoski and the late Lorraine Watral Gricoski. 

He was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School, class of 1974, the Navy Academy Preparatory School, Rhode Island and the University of Maryland with a B.S Degree in Government and Politics and a minor in Business Management.

Michael recently retired as a Network Administrator for the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, Bureau of Information Systems.  He previously was owner and manager of the former Gricoski Detective Agency, Frackville.

Michael loved his family and enjoyed all the holiday gatherings.  He cherished his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.  He enjoyed all sports and liked playing golf.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother; David T. Gricoski, in 2021.

Michael is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna L. Sullens Gricoski, Lebanon, son; Fr. Thomas (Gregory) Gricoski; St. Meinrad, IN; daughter; Jeanie Gricoski, D.O. and fiancé Aaron Dreisbach, Orwigsburg; son; Michael E. Gricoski and his wife Vienna Williamsport; two grandchildren; Selena and Tristan Driesbach; a sister; Helen and Bob Pryslak; two brothers; Stephen and Peggy Gricoski; Albert and Denise Gricoski; sister-in-law; Holly Gricoski; Aunts; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 24 in St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Frackville with his son; Rev. Thomas Gricoski as celebrant; Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Monday morning from 9 to 10:30 am at the Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville.  Interment with Military Honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
