Born in Franklin, TX, October 1, 1931, he was a son of the late Pack and Dona Andrews Bolton.
He is a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War; He received the Combat Infantryman Badge Par 9 SO 1 Hq 8th Cav Regt; the Korean Service Medal w/3 Campaign Stars DAGO 39 and served with Company A 3rd Cml Mortar BN, Fort Bragg, NC.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #398, Frackville.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Delton was a skilled carpenter, he liked working with his hands, building and renovating homes. He worked for several local contractors, having last worked for Shingle Contracting, Shenandoah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rose Stephany Bolton, in 2004; a son; Delton Bolton, Jr. in 2019; step-son; Paul Williams, in 2020 and four brothers and sisters
Delton is survived by five children; three sisters and a brother; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Private Services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment with military honors were in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
