Alice I. Mccloskey
Alice I. McCloskey, 91, of Frackville, passed away into the hands of her Lord Monday at Schuylkill Medical Center –East Norwegian St., Pottsville.
 
Born in Shenandoah, September 17, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline Lincalis Dougert. She was a graduate of Frackville High School.

She was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Frackville and worked for the former Charles Rabin Factory, Frackville, as a sewing machine operator for 30 years before retiring.

Alice loved her family, raising her children and adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed polka music, dancing, cooking and family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank McCloskey in 1992, a grandson Danny McCloskey, in 1995; four sisters; Blanche Shabosky, Marie Colosimo, Helen Dougert and Mary Farley; six brothers; Joseph, Tony, John Julius, Bernard and Albert Dougert.

Alice is survived by two sons; Ronald McCloskey and his wife Nancy and Stanley “Stosh” McCloskey and his wife Ann Marie, both of Frackville; four grandchildren; Bryan McClosky and his wife Terry; Amanda McCloskey; Angela Huben and husband Mike and Brandon McCloskey; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert Finlan, pastor, as celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Tuesday morning from 9:30 – till time of Mass at the church. Interment will be in Annunciation Parish Cemetery. Englewood/Frackville.
