Mary S. Sweador Husovage, 91, of Frackville, passed away Sunday at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.
Born in Maizeville, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Stange Sweador.
She graduated from the former Gilberton High School and worked as a telephone repair technician for Western Electric Telephone Company, King of Prussia, for more than 30 years until her retirement.
Mary was a member of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years John F. Husovage, in 2001; four sisters; Anna Halupa, Helen Pernick, Julia Stetz and Eva Soroka; a brother John Sweador, Jr.
Mary is survived by two sisters, Martha Bozena and her husband John, Frackville, and Olga Rutkowsky, Philadelphia; a brother, Michael Sweador and his wife Theresa, Frackville; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Roman Pitula, as celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville. Panaheda prayer service will be at 9:20 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael’s parish cemetery, Englewood/Frackville.
