Michael Troyanoski
Michael Troyanoski, 89, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Wednesday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center, South Jackson Street, Pottsville.
Born in Frackville, August 29, 1923, he was a son of the late Wasyl and Anna Liptok Troyanoski.
Michael resided in Frackville with his wife of 62 years Margaret Horvath Troyanoski. They were married on November 19, 1950
Michael graduated from Frackville High School in 1942 and then worked as a materials inspector at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard.
He was veteran of World War II in the Army Air Corps.  He attained the rank of Sergeant and served in North Africa with the 376th Bombardment Group and then in the South Pacific as part of the 6th Emergency Rescue Squadron. He was awarded the American Campaign, Good Conduct and WWII Victory Medals.
Michael owned and operated the former Troyanoski Electric in Mahanoy City for over 50 years.
He was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church and the American Legion Post #398, both of Frackville.
The last of six children in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters; Mary Petrusky, Julia Fannick and Annabelle Bronko; two brothers; John and William Troyanoski.
Surviving in addition to his wife Margaret are three daughters; Margaret Hoy and her husband Daniel, Pine Grove; Patricia Scott and her husband Randy, Falls, PA; and Pamela Miscikowski and her husband Jeffrey, Glenn Allen, VA ; two sons; Michael and his wife Mihi, North Ridge, CA; and Stephen and his wife Lori, Sellersville; Grandchildren; Victoria Cutter and her husband Christopher, Harrodsburg, KY; Michael Troyanoski, Allison Troyanoski, Samantha Scott and Matthew Miscikowski; several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Monday morning in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Roman Pitula, Pastor, as Celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Sunday evening form 6-9 with Parastas at 6:30 at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville; visitation again from 8:30-9:30 Monday morning. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Michael's parish cemetery, Englewood/Frackville.
