Margaret Anna Troyanoski
 Margaret Anna Troyanoski, 90, of Frackville, passed away May 4 in Glen Allen, Virginia, home of her youngest daughter Pamela.Margaret, affectionately known as Nan by her family, was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Michael in 2013.  They were married in 1950 at St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church in Frackville.

Born in Eagle Hill February, 1933, Margaret was a daughter of the late John and Mary Farinich Horvath. She attended Blythe Township schools until age 14 when she left school to help support her mother after the death of her father. For many years Nan was a member of the pyrohy making crew at St. Michaels. She enjoyed cooking Ukrainian dishes for her family and loved preparing Holy Supper for Christmas Eve. As matriarch of the Troyanoski tribe, she always had a listening ear, a helping hand and loving heart.

In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by four brothers: Michael, Charles, Stephen and John Chiminitz and six sisters: Anna Pacine, Mary Drum, Sophie Feely, Helen Hnatishion, Elizabeth Tokonitz and Pauline Annick.

She is survived by five children: Margaret Hoy (Daniel) Pine Grove, Patricia Scott (Randy), Falls, Michael Troyanoski (Mihi), North Ridge, CA, Stephen Troyanoski (Lori), Sellersville and Pamela Miscikowski (Jeff), Glen Allen, VA. 

She is also survived by five Grandchildren: Victoria (Hoy) Yeager (Christopher Cutter, husband) Watkins Glen, NY, Michael L. Troyanoski (Lindsey), Glen Mills, Alison Troyanoski (fiancé, Nicholas Bastos), Philadelphia, Dr. Samantha Scott (Anthony Caselli, husband) Ithica, NY, Matthew Miscikowski, Glen Allen, VA; a great-granddaughter, Addison Troyanoski Glen Mills, one older sister, Susan Strauss, Newtown, numerous nieces and nephews and good friend, Betty Russell.
 

Private services were held May 11, 2023. Funeral Liturgy was celebrated by Reverend Petro Zvarych at St Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville. Interment was in the Parish Cemetery at Englewood Frackville. Donations in Margaret’s name can be made to St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church Memorial Fund, 243 S. Middle St., Frackville, PA  17931.
