Michael Kastroba, 78, of Frackville, formerly of St. Clair, passed away Wednesday, March 28 at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation center, Frackville, with his family by his side.
Born in St. Clair, October 31, 1939, he was a son of the late Michael and Frances Domanski Kastroba.
He was a graduate of St. Clair High School, class of 1958.
He served in the U. S. Army Reserve for eight years.
Michael was a Professional Barber he also worked at the former Zapata industries, Frackville and last worked for Boboli Company, Hazelton.
He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Frackville and was a 3rd Degree member of the Rev. James a Hogan, Knights of Columbus, Council #2580, Frackville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Frances Kastroba Fergel.
Michael is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dolores Kluss Kastroba, Frackville; two daughters; Joan Heim (Ron), Florida; and Christine, Frackville; two sons; David (Emily), Pottsville and Stephen (Misty), Palo Alto; grandchildren; Brandon and Megan Heim and Carter Kastroba; nieces and nephews.
Private Services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment was in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
