Michael Cuttic, 73, of Frackville passed away Friday evening at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Reading.
Born in Frackville, July 4, 1944, he was a son of the late Michael and Eva White Cuttic. He was a graduate of Frackville High School, class of 1962 and the Taddeus Steven Trade School, Lancaster.
Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served as a radio operator.
He was a member of the Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville.
Michael was an amatuer ham radio operator K3KNL; and was a member of the Tamaqua Amateur Radio Repeaters; the ASUR Club, Friendship Fire Company, Englewood and the B.P.O.E Elks Lodge #1533, Frackville.
He worked as a Laboratory Technician for Honeywell until his retirement.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Jean Holowaty.
Michael is survived by his wife of 46 years Carol Kurchock Cuttic, Frackville; four sons; Michael J. Cuttic and wife Sara, New Bern, NC; Mark Cuttic and wife Bri, Frackville; Matthew Cuttic, Kulpmont and Steven Cuttic and wife Hilary, Frackville; grandchildren; Caitlynn, Emily, Mia, Ava, Emma, Sarah and Step-grandson Chase; brothers; Basil Cuttic, Frackville and Andrew Cuttic, The Villages, FL; and his dog Bella Marie and cat Domino; nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 Monday morning in Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville with the Very Rev. James Jadick, as celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. Monday morning at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville. Interment with Military Honors will be in Holy Ascension Parish Cemetery, Englewood/Frackville.
