George T. Chesko, II, 86, of Frackville passed away Tuesday morning at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, East Norwegian St. Pottsville.
Born in Frackville, January 6, 1932, he was a son of the late George A. and Sophie C Rydzy Chesko. He was a graduate of Frackville High School.
He worked as a forklift operator at the former Zapata Industries, Frackville until his retirement.
George enjoyed working and maintaining his garden and working around his home.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Frances Dunn and brother, Thomas Chesko.
George is survived by his son George T. Chesko, III and his wife Adonna Maria, Frackville; a sister Eleanor Chesko Mahoney, Marlboro, NJ; grandchildren Bianca and Jeannet Chesko; Audrianna, Melissa, Anthony and Bridget; close nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday in St. John the Baptist Polish National Catholic Church, Frackville with Rev. Robert Plichta, as celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville. Interment will be in St. John’s Parish Cemetery, Frackville. In lieu of flowers donations, in George’s name, can be made to the Frackville Ministerium Food Bank,c/o St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 7 S. Broad Mountain Ave., Frackville, PA 17931
