Margaret Malinchak, 95, of Frackville, formerly of Irvington, NJ, died early Saturday morning at Lehigh Valley Health Center-East Norwegian St., Pottsville.
Born in Mahanoy Plane, January 21, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Eva Shafran Malinchak.
She graduated Frackville High School class of 1939 and attended Business School in New Jersey.
She was a member of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville.
Margaret last worked as a secretary for Irvington Varnish and Insulator Company, Irvington, NJ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters; Mary and Eva Malinchak and five infant siblings.
Margaret is survived by a sister; Vera Timko, Frackville and a brother; Jacob Malinchak, Jr., Buckingham Springs; Nieces and Nephews; Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews; Great-Great Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning in Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville, with Margaret’s Nephew Rev. Edward Hughes and Rev. James Jadick, as co-celebrants; Relatives and Friends are invited to a visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville. Interment will be in Holy Ascension Parish cemetery, Englewood/Frackville.
