Janice K. Dura Yasenchak, 63, of Quakake, formerly of Frackville, died suddenly Wednesday at her residence.
Born in the former Ashland State Hospital, December 21, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Catherine Zack Dura.
She graduated from North Schuylkill High School and the Ford Business School, Pottsville.
Janice worked in the accounts payable department of Sealy Mattress Company, Delano, until her retirement.
She enjoyed her spiritual pursuits with like-minded and open hearted individuals and traveling to vacation spots and she liked driving around the country side with her husband and puppy dogs. Her family was most important and she was happy in her home in Quakake.
Janice is survived by her husband of 44 years Thomas J. Yasenchak, Quakake, her daughter; Lori Unser and husband David, Allentown; her son; Thomas “TJ” Yasenchak, and wife Melanie, Bakersfield, CA; 3 grandchildren; Clara, Chloe and Camryn; a brother; Richard Dura, Barnesville; several nieces and nephews.
A Religious Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, with Rev. Robert Finlan, as celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with family from 9 to 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
