Bernie V. Vinski
 Bernie V. Vinski, 78, of Gilberton, died unexpectedly Tuesday, at Shawmere Resort, Lyndhurst, Ontario, Canada, while on his annual fishing trip.
Born in Maizeville, April 15, 1938, he was a son of the late Joseph and Helen Stank Vinski.
A graduate of Gilberton High School. He worked for Rockwell International as a packer and rigger for 46 years until his retirement.
Bernie was an avid hunter and fisherman, he was vice-president of the Bearshead Sportsman Club, Delano, and he enjoyed all sports all year round.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Frackville and was a former member of St. Canicus Roman Catholic Church, Mahanoy City.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters and was the last of his immediate family.
Bernie is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marie Snarski Vinski, Gilberton; a son; Bryan Vinski, Morea, three daughters; Lou Ann Knittle (Ronald), Barnesville; Jeanette Marteusz (Joseph), Middleport and Laura Smith (Donny), Fallentimber; 6 grandchildren and a great grandchild expected in July.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation BVM Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert Finlan, pastor, as celebrant.  Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. till time of Mass at the church.  Interment will be in St. Louis Cemetery. Englewood/Frackville.
Donations can be made in Bernie's name to St. Joseph's Parish Memorial Fund, 7 S. Broad Mountain Ave., Frackville, PA  17931.
