John F. Bolinsky, 72, of Englewood, Frackville, passed away Monday evening at his residence with his loving wife and family by his side.

Born in Englewood, May 21, 1943, he was a son of the late Michael and Harriet Swabovage Bolinsky.  He graduated from Butler Township High School.

He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish, St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Frackville and a former member of the American Legion Post #398.

He worked as a self-employed carpenter for over 30 years; a lot of his work can be seen around the area of his remodeling and building of homes; he built his own home.

He was a kind and gentle man who loved his family very much and he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Michael and Thomas Bolinsky.

John is survived by his wife of 28 years Linda Thompson Bolinsky; three sons; Michael Bolinsky, Englewood, John Paul Bolinsky and wife Deanna, Frackville and Jason Bolinsky, Louisville, KY; 5 Grandchildren; Kodi, Treyahna, Breeann, Brielle and Nicholas; sister; Dorothy Zerby, Ashland; two brothers, Paul Bolinsky, Radcliff, KY, Daniel Bolinsky, Girardville; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Frackville, with Rev. Robert Finlan, pastor, as celebrant.  Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9:00 a.m. till time of Mass Friday morning at the church.  Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Englewood/Frackville.
