William A. Garbarino

William A. Garbarino, 85, formerly of Frackville, a resident of Providence Place, Pottsville, passed away Friday evening at Schuylkill Medical Center, East Norwegian St., Pottsville.
Born in Shenandoah, April 29, 1930, he was a son of the late Ernesto and Louise Barbieri Garbarino. He was a graduate of Shenandoah Catholic High School.
William worked with his brother Ernie, mostly in the darkroom, developing and assisting in taking photos of graduation classes, weddings and many other social functions at Ernie's Photography, Frackville
He was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Frackville, the Northeast Pennsylvania Professional Photographers Assoc. and the Pennsylvania Professional Photographers Assoc. A life-member of the Rev. James A. Hogan, Knights of Columbus Council #2580, Frackville and a former member of the Frackville Senior Citizens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Ernest C. Garbarino, in 2011.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Tecla Garbarino, Pottsville, Charles P. Shaulis, Jr and Kathy Molnar, Gilberton.
Religious Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville, with Rev. Robert Finlan, as celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
