Rosemary A. Tenaglia Dixon, 81, of Frackville, passed away Saturday morning September 12, at Broad Mountain Health and Rehabilitation Center, Frackville.
Born in Girardville, June 17, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Cataldo Tenaglia.
A graduate of Frackville High School, class of 1952 , Rosemary received a Business Certification from the former Ford School of business and worked at the former Bell of Pennsylvania as a telephone operator.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Frackville.
Rosemary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, caregiver and grandmother.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, W. Ronald Dixon, died Jan. 19, 2015; a daughter-in-law, Tina L. Dixon, in 2010 and sister-in law, Mary Mykolayko Tenaglia.
Rosemary is survived by a son. Brad C. Dixon, Frackville; a daughter; Robin L. Fritz and husband Nelson, Benton; four grandchildren, Cullen Dixon, Nicholas Dixon, Caleb Fritz and his wife Elizabeth and Joshua Fritz and his wife Sandy; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Maria and Linnea Fritz; two brothers, James Tenaglia, Frackville and Phillip Tenaglia and his wife Carol, Frackville; nieces and nephews.
Religious Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning at the First United Methodist Church, Frackville, with Pastor Jonathan Hall, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9:30 till time of service at the church. Interment will be Odd Fellows Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
