Joseph J. Andrewsky, Jr.
Joseph J. Andrewsky, Jr., 71, of Frackville passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at his residence with his family by his side.
 
Born in Ashland, he was a son of the late Joseph J. Andrewsky, Sr. and Martha Flickinger.
He attended Frackville Schools.
 
He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
 
Joseph was a Truck Driver for 55 years, traveling over 4 million miles without an accident. He drove long distance and local routes for several companies and last worked for Karchner Trucking, Hazelton.
 
He was a member of the Teamsters Union and was active with the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. He enjoyed country music and going to Cape May, NJ.
 
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Robin Brecker Frantz and twin brothers, George and John Reing and infant brother Ronald Brecker.
 
Joseph is survived by his wife of 16 years, Lynn Mitchell Andrewsky, Frackville; five children; John Andrewsky and wife Lisa, Shenandoah Heights; Joseph Andrewsky, Medford, OR; Virginia Yezulinas, William Penn; Jeff Andrewsky and fiance LeeAnn Cotten, Frackville and Brian Andrewsky and companion Tracey Linn, a caregiver, Lost Creek; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Barry Brecker, Gordon; three sisters; Grace Palina and twin sisters, Ruth and Rose Brecker, all of Frackville; nieces and nephew; and his faith dog Blaze who was always by his side.
 
Religious Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday morning at the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Friday morning from 9:30 till time of service at the funeral home.  Interment with military honors will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Shoemakersville.
